With PKU, it is extremely important to have blood levels in the safe range well before and
during pregnancy. If the level is high, there would be a risk of birth defects.
2) What can you NOT eat in case of PKU risks?
Meat, nuts, milk*, cheese, eggs*, soya products, normal pasta, whole wheat bread, etc.
3) What are some of your best foods for a PKU patient to eat?
Toasted tomato sandwich, avocado sushi rolls, fruit smoothies (no dairy), low-protein taco
salad/burritos.

4) How will I get to know that your restaurant food is protein free or not?
In our menu, we describe all contents of the ingredients we have used in the food. That will
give a proper idea about the food you eat is protein free or not.
